The Rosary: An Invention of Fools Fooling Other Fools

Many people are highly educated and yet they pray the Rosary. Did they know its history? Have they even questioned how it came to be? The truth is, it takes a fool to fool another fool. Once again, the concept of “veiled eyes” or “mind blinded by the god of this world” that the Bible talks about is proven true. The Rosary is an invention of fools fooling other fools, and yet they don’t know it!

A sacred item for Catholics but at the same time a commercial commodity, the Rosary is used by almost all devout Catholics, from the poorest of the poor to the richest pope in the history of the Roman Catholic Church. Here’s how the Modern Catholic Dictionary defines the rosary and talks about many other rosaries in different names, allowing for more inventions as recommended by the popes.

Obvious features of the rosary are: 1) Repetition of ready-made prayers, which is why there is counting, 2) Veneration of Mary, and 3) Introduction of the concept, “Blessed Mother of God.”

If we base our belief on the definition written in the Modern Catholic Dictionary, we must first believe that there is a "mother of God" to whom devotional prayer is said through the rosary.“Mother” in the Bible means “the origin.”

GENESIS 3:20
And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

The term, "mother of God" will mean that Mary is the mother of all gods or the origin from where all gods came from! What an atrocious lie invented by the Roman Catholic Church!

The belief that Mary is the "mother of God" did not come from Christ or from the Apostles! It is a doctrine invented in the year 431 by the Council of Ephesus, 400 years after the ascension of Christ, 300 years after the death of the apostles, the very time foretold by the apostles when heresies and doctrines of devils will abound. I TIMOTHY 4:1-2
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

The God of the Bible has declared that he is first being and with the last generation!

ISAIAH 41:4
Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

If God has a mother, He cannot be the first being! The inspired song of Moses that will be sung even unto eternity states that God is from everlasting and unto everlasting!

PSALMS 90:2
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

REVELATION 15:3
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Mother of God is different from “Mother of my Lord.”Indeed, the term "mother of God" is a disgrace to Mary, and an insult and blasphemy to God! Specifically,Mary was called by her kin, Elisabeth, as "the mother of my Lord".

LUKE 1:41-43
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

The word "Lord" is not always used to denote God but respect as in the case of Sarah. She called Abraham her lord as respect to him.

I PETER 3:6
Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

Employers of Christians are also called "lords".

COLOSSIANS 4:1 (Literal Translation)
Lords, give what is just and equal to the slaves, knowing that you have a Lord in Heaven also.

The Greek word used in this verse is κύριος (kurios) that means "Lord".

G2962
κύριος
kurios
koo'-ree-os
From κῦρος kuros (supremacy); supreme in authority, that is, (as noun) controller; by implication Mr. (as a respectful title): - God, Lord, master, Sir.

When Elisabeth used the term, "mother of my Lord," she did not mean in her heart and mind as that implied by Catholic authorities when they devised the concept, "mother of God.” The Lord Jesus Christ is Lord because His Father, who is God, made Him Lord and Christ.

THE ACTS 2:36
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

That which was made Lord by God the Father, is the human person of the Son of God, which at the time of Elisabeth's salutation was in the womb of Mary.

MATTHEW 1:18-20
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

To sum it up, there is no such thing in the Bible as "mother of God." Nowhere in all Bible translations can any Catholic authority find this term!

In the face of this truth, the intent of the use of the rosary falls!

Furthermore, the Lord Jesus Christ prohibits Christians to pray repetitiously.More so, counting them as though numbers would matter.

MATTHEW 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

And it is surely vain repetition to utter phrases and praises again and again – especially so that they are not found in the Bible. "Holy Mary, Mother of God" is not found in the Bible!

When Jesus entrusted the care of Her mother to the beloved disciple John, He said -

JOHN 19:26-27
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Note that He did not call Mary "mother" but "woman.” The same thing happened in Cana of Galilee.

JOHN 2:1-4
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Throughout His earthly ministry, the Lord Jesus practicing His Lordship over Christians, never called Mary his "mother.”

MATTHEW 12:46-50
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Mary never regarded this thing though as disrespect on her by her son, Jesus, because she knew who dwelled in that human body she bore.

LUKE 2:42-51
42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

The first century Christians did not use any form of rosary. Let us consider research on the history of the Rosary to understand it better.

As claimed by Louis De Montfort in the book, “The Secret of the Rosary” (17th Century),a Catholic priest allegedly “received a rosary from the Blessed Virgin.” The Rosary allegedly was given to the Church by Dominic who received it from the Blessed Virgin. However, as sources point out, this claim is dubious.

Montfort writes in his book that the rosary is made up of mental prayer and vocal prayer, with beads assisting memory and completion. Accordingly, it has been in use since the time of Jesus but it was in the year 1214 that the “Holy Mother Church” received it in its present form.

How do we know these are lies? Nothing is said in the Bible about Mary appearing again and again in visions, much more arrogating unto herself some power and therefore promising salvation through a bead of repetitions called rosary (Angelic Psalter).

We’ve seen how just a simple bean counter is tied to repeated prayers, is tied to venerating Mary who is as human as people are, is tied to a Dominican priest whose biography does not even accommodate that story as true. Yet a book (Montfort’s in the 17th Century) is written about how that bean counter is passed on to Dominic. A Dominican priest named Alanus claims to have received the Blessed Mother's "15 Promises" through Jesus, based on the use of the Rosary, but the fact is that there are 250 years gap between Alanus and Dominic. With those supposed 15 promises “received by Alanus,” the belief on the Rosary gets more glue. Finally, Cardinal Patrick J. Hayes, the then Archbishop of New York orders the printing of those 15 so-called mysteries, with the note that one is free to believe or not.Not to be outdone, Pope Pius XI declares that praying the Rosary is how salvation is obtained. Baloney of all baloneys! Is that how truth comes about?

Lies really do reinforce each other. They are jolly cousins, attesting to blinded minds that the Bible talks about.

On this score, I challenge all Catholic authorities! If they are sport enough to accept the truth, they should confess that the rosary is an invention of Catholic authorities.

The Rosary has no purpose other than to fool other fools.
